VENUS TERZO was honored with a Gemini nomination for Best Actress in a Dramatic Series in 2002 for her portrayal of compassionate, resilient, and tough Homicide Detective Angela Kosmo in Da Vinci's Inquest, the role she reprises in Da Vinci's City Hall.

Terzo is a Montreal native who speaks three languages: English, French and Greek. After her agent relocated to Vancouver, Terzo moved west and within a month she earned a role on Wiseguy.

Terzo's feature film work includes American Boyfriends, Devotion, and Home Movie. She has also appeared in numerous movies of the week including Heaven's On Fire, Other Women's Children, Into The Arms Of Danger, Echo, Deadly Vow, and The Man Who Used to be Me. She will also be seen in the upcoming MOWs Painkiller Jane and Meltdown.

Terzo was a series regular on Street Legal and had a recurring role on Madison. She guest starred on Viper, Poltergeist, Jack's Place, Mom P.I., Lonesome Dove, and Neon Rider. She has also played principal roles in The Sentinel, Sliders, Highlander, and The Beachcombers. Other recent credits include work on two series: First Wave and Seven Days. In 1999 she won a Leo Award for Best Actress for her work on Da Vinci's Inquest and was nominated again in 2000.

One of Terzo's best kept secrets is her voice-over work in the world of animation where she is the voice of Jean Gray, a telekinetic character in X-Men, and of Agent Diane Zervas in the animated series Action Man.
