Alex Diakun
Chick Savoy


ALEX DIAKUN is a long-time friend and colleague of series creator Chris Haddock, who penned the role of Chick Savoy (forensics investigator turned homicide detective) specifically for Diakun. The two had worked together on Haddock's previous CBC series, Mom P.I., where he created a character called "Chick" (Leroi), played by Diakun. Born in rural Alberta, Diakun began his schooling in Chilliwack, BC and finished with a BFA from the University of Alberta. He has been acting for over three decades and has appeared in over 200 stage plays. His film and television credits include the upcoming CBC movie Intelligence, Agent Cody Banks, Dudley Do Right, Wrongfully Accused, Drive She Said, Malone, Crackerjack, Harmony Cats, Hitman, The Glitterdome, Street Justice, Mercy Point, Nightman, The Commish, Millennium, Outer Limits, Sentinel, Murphy's Law, Police Academy, Viper, Dead Man's Gun, Poltergeist, The X-Files and Lonesome Dove. Recent credits include the television movie You Know My Name, the series Andromeda, The Outer Limits and the upcoming feature LaLa Wood. For his stage work, Diakun has received three nominations for Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards.
