Morris Panych has appeared in over 50 theater productions and an array of film and TV roles. He has directed more than 50 stage productions and written over a dozen plays produced throughout Canada, the UK, and the US, including seven stories and three plays for young audiences published under the title "Other Schools of Thought." He has won the Jessie Award fourteen times for acting and directing. In 1994, he received the Governor General's Award for his play The Ends of the Earth. As a director, Morris has won Dora Mavor Moore Awards for directing his plays The Girl in the Goldfish Bowl and The Overcoat. The Overcoat also garnered him a Gemini Award nomination for Best Direction of a Performing Arts program. Morris Panych directed "Okay It's Official" Season VI of Da Vinci's Inquest.
